SPOCOM 2008 CAR SHOW

LONG BEACH, CA--The 2008 SpoCom Car Show took place on Sunday, June 22, at the Long Beach Convention Center. Both a trade event and a consumer show open to the public, SpoCom featured top auto industry manufacturers in addition to the huge car show competition. Many import models were at the show including Eri Moriyama, Pam Rodriguez, Kat Gutierrez, Kailiyah Rey, and Amanda Gift. The show stage featured an urban dance competition as well as both a bikini and a lingerie contest. Alexia Lei emceed the bikini contest where Miss Genna took top honors with Bahara and Julianna first and second runner up, respectively. Other contestants included Jenny Chu, Crystal Brooke, Sheleen Dee, and Flor Bermudez. See Photos........

Formula Drift 2008 Long Beach

LONG BEACH, CA -- Formula Drift celebrated its fifth anniversary by kicking off the 2008 Season on Saturday, April 12th, with Round 1 - Streets of Long Beach. The sunny summerlike hot weather in Long Beach perfectly matched the heat from the Long Beach Grand Prix track, as Tanner Foust, 2007 Formula Drift Champ, headlined a field of top drifters including Vaughn Gittin Jr., Daijiro Yoshihara, Samuel Hubinette, Robbie Nishida, and Chris Forsberg.

Forsberg emerged victorious after a classic battle with Samuel Hubinette that had to go an extra round to determine the winner. The event also featured a vendor village and car show for those in attendance. See photos of Courtney Day and Lisa Angeline. The Formula Drift Schedule for 2008 includes future stops in New Jersey, Las Vegas, Washington, and Sonoma CA, before the season finale at Irwindale Speedway. See Photos........

LAPD Celebrity Golf and Car Show
The 37th Annual Los Angeles Police Celebrity Golf Tournament and Family Fun Day was held at Ranch Park Golf Course on Saturday, May 17, 2008. This year's event also featured a car show on the premises.

CES 2008: In-Vehicle Technology
Making appearances on the show floor were Jennifer Nicole of Spike TV's Bullrun series, models Mary Castro and Misa Campo, and representing Playboy Racing were Hiromi Oshima, Amanda Paige, and Jordan Monroe.

Extreme Autofest 2007
Jessica Barrett and Mercedes Terrell attended the Extreme Autofest Lifestyle Show held at the D1 Grand Prix World Championship.

D1 Grand Prix 2007 World Championship Drifting
Vaughn Gittin Jr. emerged as the big winner for the weekend-first leading the U. S. to an upset victory over Team Japan, and then winning the All Star World Championship on Sunday.

2007 SEMA Show Cars
Carroll Shelby's CS8 Mustang was among the new and vintage cars on display. Also check out the new Mazda MX-5 and RX-8 as well as a vintage 1934 Roadster.

2007 SEMA Show Floor
The Hot Wheels 40th Anniversary Exhibit proved to be one of the most popular at the show. Also see Camaro Transormer Movie Car and some Formula Drift cars.

Dubfest 2007 Auto Show
The 2007 Dubfest Car Show & Expo was held on Sunday, September 09, 2007, at Irwindale Speedway. The event featured many hot VW, Audi, Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes vehicles on display.

Toyota Grand Prix 2007
Celebrity participants included producer/director George Lucas, actress Kathryn Morris (Cold Case), actress Emily Procter (CSI Miami), actor Joshua Morrow, Kendra Wilkinson from The Girls Next Door, and actress Kelly Hu.
