| Formula Drift 2007 Long Beach (82 images) LONG BEACH, CA -- The 2007 Formula Drift Pro Championship season began on Saturday, April 7, at the Long Beach Grand Prix site. Round 1, named The Streets of Long Beach: No Room for Mistakes, featured plenty of excitement and entertainment on a mostly overcast but cool, comfortable day. Mitsuru Haruguchi took first place in the event driving his Nissan 240SX. Tanner Foust, with his Nissan 350Z, finished second. And Daijiro Yoshihara drove his Nissan S15 capturing third place. In addition to the drifting competition, a vendor expo was held next to the track. Between the qualifying round and the tandem sessions, the drivers were in the pit paddock area to sign autographs and take pictures with the fans. |
